HBO’s show Euphoria has taken over people’s feeds by storm since the show has released its second season this year. Euphoria Sundays has become apart of fans’ weekly rituals including cast member Angus Cloud who plays Fezco in the show. Cloud explained when the first episode released of season 2 he was not allowed to know what was going to happen throughout the season because people were afraid he would spill the beans on what would happen throughout the season. So when season 2 premiered Cloud was finding out what happened just like the rest of the audience.

Every Euphoria Sunday Cloud decided to live tweet throughout the episode because he was finding out how the show was unfolding just like the rest of us. His organic reactions to the show kept his followers engaged because they were watching and reacting together. Since season 2 premiered Cloud had a major increase in followers online because of the show. After every episode Cloud would ask his followers their thoughts and opinions on what they thought about that episode. This gave Cloud’s followers the opportunity to not only ‘nerd out’ about what happened in that episode but they could nerd out with one of the actual cast members of the show. By having Cloud be so interactive throughout every episode has given his audience so much engagement.

This really helped Cloud gain momentum on increasing his following. Once Cloud built a strong foundation on what was working when it came to interacting with his online community it then furthered him to progress into other social media platforms like Instagram. Cloud focused his Instagram more on his personal work and life.

Since Euphoria helped launch Cloud’s career this then lead to him being able to meet other celebrities and attend high profile events where he has opportunities to build upon his relationships. Recently, Cloud was seen attending New York fashion week sitting between famous rapper Megan Thee Stallion and singer Rina Sawayama during the Coach fashion show. What made Cloud really stand out was the video of him eating a bag of Cheetos at the event. This brought humor and relatability to the new actor that everyone could appreciate.

Since Cloud did not come from an acting background he hasn’t had a lot of experience in the celebrity world. That being said this worked to Cloud’s advantage. The reason why is Cloud’s sheer relatability to just being a normal humble person. Cloud never puts on a front when interacting with anyone. Whether it is doing a press event with HoYeon Sung from Squid Games, doing online interviews, to meeting fans, Cloud maintains his chill, goofy, down to earth personality not matter who he is with.

In result Angus Cloud has been killing the game when it comes to an online presence by simply being himself. By having an already established online basis thanks to Euphoria, Cloud had the freedom to build upon his community and branch off to make it his own. Not only was he able to establish his own online community but he managed to build upon the Euphoria community as well by just simply watching the show and tweeting about it.
